Bandai SD Gundam EX-Standard Gundam Aerial Model Kit

Description

Build one of the most recognisable mobile suits from the Gundam universe with the Bandai SD Gundam EX-Standard Gundam Aerial Model Kit, a compact and highly detailed plastic construction kit inspired by the popular anime series Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury.

Piloted by Suletta Mercury, the XVX-016 Gundam Aerial is the central mobile suit of the series, featuring distinctive white and blue armour, red accents and advanced weaponry. This SD Gundam EX-Standard version recreates the famous mobile suit in a stylised, compact design, combining oversized proportions with impressive mechanical detailing.

Part of Bandai’s popular SD Gundam EX-Standard (SDEX) range, this model features articulated joints that allow the completed Gundam Aerial to be positioned in a variety of dynamic action poses. Despite its smaller proportions, the kit retains many of the recognisable features of the original mobile suit.

The model comes equipped with a beam rifle, beam sabre and shield, allowing builders to recreate different battle-ready configurations. The beam rifle can be attached to the back of the Gundam, while the shield can be separated into sections and connected to the shoulders for an alternative appearance.

Designed using Bandai’s innovative snap-fit construction system, the plastic components assemble without the need for glue. The parts are moulded in colour, while the included stickers provide additional finishing details, allowing builders to create an attractive model without painting.

The Bandai Gundam Aerial model kit offers an enjoyable introduction to Japanese plastic model building, commonly known as Gunpla. Its manageable size and straightforward assembly make it particularly appealing to newcomers, while the detailed design and interchangeable equipment provide plenty of interest for experienced Gundam collectors.

Recommended for ages 8 years and over, this officially licensed Bandai model kit makes an excellent birthday or Christmas gift for Gundam enthusiasts, anime fans and anyone interested in Japanese robot model kits.
