Corgi Thunderbirds F.A.B. Collection Thunderbird 2 & 4 Die-Cast Models

Description

Celebrate 60 years of Thunderbirds with the Corgi Thunderbirds F.A.B. Collection Thunderbird 2 and Thunderbird 4 Die-Cast Models. Bringing together two of International Rescue’s most famous vehicles, this special release is a fantastic addition to any Gerry Anderson or Thunderbirds collection.

For this anniversary edition, Corgi has recreated Thunderbird 2 in the correct shade of apple green with a matte paint finish, producing what Corgi describes as its most screen-accurate representation of the iconic rescue craft to date. The models are presented in premium anniversary packaging, making the set particularly appealing for collectors.

Piloted by Virgil Tracy, Thunderbird 2 is International Rescue’s heavy-duty transporter, carrying the specialist equipment required for demanding rescue missions. The instantly recognisable green craft features its famous central pod, while the much smaller Thunderbird 4 represents the underwater rescue vehicle piloted by Gordon Tracy.

Produced as detailed die-cast models, the set captures two unmistakable machines from the classic Thunderbirds television series. Thunderbird 2 measures approximately 15.2cm long, 10.8cm wide and 6cm high, with Corgi listing the model as Fit the Box scale.

Whether bought as a nostalgic gift or displayed alongside other vehicles from the Corgi F.A.B. Collection, Thunderbird 2 and 4 make a superb celebration of one of Gerry Anderson’s most enduring creations.
